Nothing new made this possible; the report was already written

No window opened. A $600–$800 report is written for one buyer and then sits in an inbox while the same house goes back on the market. A house for sale already arrives with a property file and a certificate of title, so one more standard document is not a stretch.

In development, the platform already handles the full lifecycle: inspector onboarding, report upload, address search, Stripe payments and PDF delivery. What it still takes is inspectors willing to sell the same report twice, and an answer to what an inspector can be sued for once many buyers lean on one report.

07 · What would prove it wrong

Buyers order their own anyway, with a recent report sitting there

If buyers keep ordering their own inspection while a recent one sits there for a fraction of the price, the report was never the thing being bought and the idea falls over. The same follows if inspectors will not resell, because the insurance risk of many buyers relying on one report costs them more than the second sale is worth.
