Parked is a full-stack fleet parking platform — the most technically ambitious project in this portfolio. It exists as a showcase piece demonstrating what a serious, production-grade application looks like when designed and built by one person.
The problem: businesses with vehicle fleets (tradies, couriers, care workers) waste time and money on parking. There’s no Airbnb for parking spaces — no way to list underused space or book ahead at scale. Parked is that marketplace, built around the specific geography and business culture of Aotearoa.
The architecture spans mobile (Expo), web (Next.js), a backend API, real-time availability via Supabase Realtime, Akahu for open banking integration (fleet expense reconciliation), and Stripe for payments. The mobile app handles driver-side booking and navigation. The web platform handles fleet manager dashboards, space owner listings, and financial reporting.
It’s not live — the capital required to seed supply and demand in a marketplace makes it unsuitable for solo bootstrapping. But the design thinking, the architecture, and the execution are all here.
